Avren Detailing takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we process, why, and what rights you have. It follows the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) and, where it applies, the EU GDPR.

2. Our approach
We collect only the data we need for the purposes described here, keep it only as long as necessary, and never sell it. Where we use other companies to process data on our behalf, we choose them with care and bind them to confidentiality.

3. Visiting our website
Our site is hosted by Wix (Wix.com Ltd and its affiliates). When you visit, Wix's servers automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device and the time of access, in order to deliver the site reliably and keep it secure. This data may be processed on servers outside Switzerland.

4. Contact and booking forms
When you use our contact or booking forms, we process the details you provide — your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, vehicle details, message and any photos you upload. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and to arrange a service. Submissions are stored within our Wix site and sent to us by email at contact@avren.ch. Providing this data is voluntary, but without it we cannot respond.

5. Cookies and analytics
Our site uses essential cookies that are necessary for it to function, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. For analytics we use Wix Analytics and Google Analytics (provided by Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC), which may transfer data to the United States; IP addresses are shortened where this option is available. Non-essential cookies are only set after you consent through our cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice there at any time.

6. Payments
Where you pay for a service, payments are processed by Stripe (including via a mobile card terminal) and TWINT. Card and payment details are handled directly by these providers; we do not collect or store your full card number.

7. Disclosure to third parties
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run our business: Wix (website hosting and form storage), Google (website analytics), and Stripe and TWINT (payment processing). Some of these providers are located outside Switzerland, including in the EU and the United States; in those cases we rely on appropriate legal safeguards for the transfer. We do not sell your data or pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

8. Marketing
We do not send newsletters or marketing emails. We use your contact details only to reply to your enquiry and to provide the service you ask for.

9. Retention
We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

10. Data security
Your data is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection, and we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

11. Your rights
You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, and to have inaccurate data corrected or your data deleted, restricted or — where applicable — provided to you or another party. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@avren.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
