Before you book
Where is the car detailed?
At the Avren Studio, in controlled light and free of dust – we collect the car from your door and bring it back. The Interior Detail can also be done at your home, office or garage.
What does collection cost?
Complimentary in canton Zug; CHF 30 per visit in Zürich and Lucerne, collection and return together; other cantons on request. For Avren Care members, collection is complimentary on every visit. If you bring the car to the Studio yourself, there is no charge – the address comes with your confirmation.
Is the price fixed?
For maintenance, yes – a fixed price for each vehicle class, from CHF 150; we confirm the class when you book. For a car in exceptional condition, such as heavy pet hair, mud or smoke, we may charge the extra time, always agreed with you before we start. Paint Correction and Ceramic Coating are quoted once we have seen the car, in person or from photographs.
When and how do I pay?
For maintenance and Studio work, once the work is done – nothing when you book. By card, TWINT, cash or bank transfer against invoice; invoices are payable within 30 days.
Can I change or cancel a booking?
Yes – with at least 24 hours’ notice, at no charge. For a cancellation at shorter notice, or a missed appointment, we may charge up to 50 % of the service price.
Is there a monthly plan?
Yes – Avren Care, after a first Full Detail of the car: regular maintenance by the same specialist, with collection complimentary on every visit. From CHF 250 / month.
The visit
What should I prepare?
Please take out personal belongings, and tell us beforehand about any existing damage, modifications, warning lights or sensitive areas.
For an Interior Detail at your place, we need safe access to the car and to power, and bring everything else. If the car or the place is not ready when we arrive, we wait or agree a new date, at no charge; waiting beyond 15 minutes is CHF 30.
How long does it take?
After maintenance, we bring the car back the same day; after Studio work such as Paint Correction or Ceramic Coating, on the day we agree with you. An Interior Detail at your place takes 2.5 hours or more in the Compact class; an SUV or an Exotic takes longer.
What if something is damaged?
Every visit begins with a walk-around on video, and any existing damage is reported to you before we start.
We are insured for what we do, including your car while we drive or hold it. Damage in that time is settled through our insurance first; where it does not cover it, through your fully comprehensive insurance, if you have one – and if we caused the damage, we pay your deductible and any loss of no-claims bonus. Without such insurance, we are liable as set out in our Terms; we collect any registered car, with or without it.
Please report damage within 7 days of the service or the car’s return; damage that could not be seen, within 7 days of finding it.
How long does a ceramic coating last?
CarPro rates its CQuartz SiC coating, which we apply only to corrected paint, for up to 18 months. Every figure we give is CarPro’s own; how long protection lasts depends on how the car is used, washed and kept.
Will anything about me or my car be published?
Not without your consent – and even then, never a number plate, a face or a location. Condition videos and photographs serve as evidence and are never published. We arrive unmarked.
Beyond detailing
Do you also look after servicing and tyre changes?
For households with three or more cars garaged in canton Zug – that is Avren Concierge. We plan every service, tyre change and inspection (MFK) and drive each car to the dealer or tyre hotel and back. The work itself is always done by the dealer or tyre hotel – invoiced to the holder, paid by you directly. Avren’s fee: CHF 280 per car, per month.
Can you sell my car?
Cars from CHF 50’000, in Switzerland – through Avren Private Sales. We sell it on your behalf and in your name, for one fee on completion; it is also due if, during the mandate or within 6 months after it ends, you sell the car to a buyer we demonstrably introduced. If it is not sold, we charge only the work already done, and only in four cases – withdrawing the car is one.
